It can be disruptive, expensive and can even threaten your business. It’s certainly a challenge. But it can be an opportunity too if you go about it the right way. It can save you money, bring about improvements in the way you work and make you more efficient.

And that’s why the City of London Corporation’s City Property Advisory Team, working in partnership with Property Consultants, Donaldsons LLP, has created City Relocator, a simple decision-making tool to help small and medium sized occupiers navigate through the range of issues they will come across, in relocating to or within the City of London.

It will help you start to manage the business of moving, by asking you lots of questions. Take the time to run through these and come back to them as you work through your project.

Our Cost Calculator will also help you understand the financial consequences of key decisions you’ll make along the way because, after all, it’s your choices, not just the market, that will determine how well you’ll meet the challenges ahead. And to give you a head start, we’ve included an extensive Glossary of property terms that you might come across in the process of dealing with the property market.

The City Property Advisory Team (CPAT) is part of the City of London Corporation’s economic development service and its role is to help businesses of all sizes find and retain City and City Fringe premises that most suit their needs. CPAT is available on a complimentary basis to assist companies by providing details of available office space in the City cluster and by giving occupiers and property developers advice and guidance on planning, highways and infrastructure matters. For further information or enquires please telephone 020 7332 3496 or email cpat@corpoflondon.gov.uk.
